Welcome to the YOUTH LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE

The YOUTH LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE provides a program that brings awareness and understanding to teens facing difficult issues, helping them build self-esteem and confidence that will guide them into their adult years. Throughout the YLA program, teens will learn how to cope with today’s complex issues and to prepare them to be our leaders of tomorrow.

Issues such as teen violence, suicide, drug abuse, and teen pregnancy are not only harmful to our youth, but can also be devastating to families and communities. The YOUTH LEADERSHIP ALLIANCE will seek to address this cycle of behavior by reaching out to teens; offering a comprehensive enrichment program, and the resources to provide guidance and leadership mentoring.

Teen violence, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, suicide and teen pregnancy are not the core issues; they are often the results of a much deeper problem, and just the tip of the iceberg. It is critical to reach these core issues in order to successfully and positively impact the complex challenges facing teens today.”
